Two Chinese companies we can name with confidence for SPC and LVT flooring on multifamily and hotel projects are Zhejiang Tianzhen Technology (Shenzhen Stock Exchange, 301356) and Zhejiang Walrus New Material (Shenzhen Stock Exchange, 003011): both are listed, both report SPC as their largest product line in their 2025 annual reports, and both sell mainly overseas as ODM manufacturers for flooring brands and building-material retailers. How This List Was Built, and What It Is Not

When a project team looks for an SPC flooring manufacturer in China, a company is named in this guide only if we could confirm, from stock exchange records and its own annual report, that it is currently listed and that SPC or LVT flooring is part of its stated main business. Two companies passed that test. Everything else is described by manufacturer type, because a factory name that cannot be checked against a primary source can mislead a project team. There is no ranking and no score: the right supplier depends on the schedule line, the destination market and the documents required. Every entry ends with “Evidence to request”, meaning product documents that tie a quotation to a real product. Percentages and capacity figures are taken from each company’s 2025 annual report filed with the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.

SPC, LVT and WPC: What Do the Terms Mean on a Chinese Quotation?

These three abbreviations are not interchangeable. The listed manufacturers’ annual reports define them this way:

• SPC (stone plastic composite). A rigid PVC floor made with a large share of calcium carbonate filler, PVC resin and stabilisers, with no plasticiser added, mixed and extruded and then laminated on line. This is the rigid-core click plank format.
• LVT (luxury vinyl tile). A semi-rigid PVC resilient floor built from a UV coat, a clear wear layer, a printed decor film, a PVC middle layer and a balancing backing. Walrus’s report lists plasticiser among the LVT raw materials. In project use LVT is supplied both as glue-down (dryback) and as click product, so the quotation must say which.
• WPC (wood plastic composite) flooring. In these reports, WPC means a lower-density PVC-core indoor floor, with a foaming agent listed among its raw materials. It is not the same product as outdoor composite decking, even though the abbreviation is shared.

For a multifamily or hotel schedule, the practical consequence is simple: every flooring line should state construction (SPC, LVT glue-down, LVT click), total thickness, wear layer thickness, joint type and any attached underlay. 1. Zhejiang Tianzhen Technology Co., Ltd. (Shenzhen Stock Exchange: 301356)

• Role in the category: manufacturer of PVC composite flooring (WPC, SPC and LVT) and a newer recycled-PET (RPET) composite floor, according to its 2025 annual report.
• Base: registered in the Anji Economic Development Zone, Huzhou, Zhejiang. The annual report lists production sites in Anji, in Vietnam and in Rayong, Thailand, with a US plant still under construction and its build period extended to June 2027.
• What the filing says: SPC flooring was 56.6% of 2025 operating revenue, WPC 26.9%, RPET 9.7% and LVT 5.2%. Overseas sales were 98.9% of revenue, mainly to the United States, Canada, the European Union and Latin America. Total design capacity is stated at about 95 million square metres. Overseas business is run mainly as ODM supply to flooring brand owners, traders and building-material retailers.
• Project fit: SPC-led unit and guest-room programs where volume and a documented production history matter.
• Evidence to request: the plant address where the quoted SKU is made; a test report to the product standard named in the specification (for rigid core in US work, ASTM F3261) that matches the quoted thickness and wear layer; a fire test report for the floor-covering system; and the indoor-air emissions certificate the project’s rating system requires.

2. Zhejiang Walrus New Material Co., Ltd. (Shenzhen Stock Exchange: 003011)

• Role in the category: PVC flooring manufacturer and exporter, with products grouped into LVT, WPC and SPC, according to its 2025 annual report.
• Base: registered in Haining, Jiaxing, Zhejiang, with a wholly owned subsidiary in Vietnam.
• What the filing says: SPC flooring was 60.4% of 2025 operating revenue, LVT 18.1% and WPC 16.0%. Overseas sales were 96.3% of revenue, with most products sold to the United States, the European Union, Canada and Australia, mainly on an ODM basis for flooring brand owners and building-material retailers. The report states that its products are used in shopping centres, hotels, office buildings, hospitals, schools and sports venues as well as housing. Design capacity for base material is stated at 489,901 tonnes.
• Project fit: projects that combine SPC in units or guest rooms with LVT elsewhere, since LVT is a larger share of this company’s revenue than of Tianzhen’s.
• Evidence to request: the plant of manufacture for each quoted SKU; test reports for SPC and for LVT separately (the two constructions are tested to different product standards); a plasticiser declaration for the LVT lines; and the fire and emissions documents required by the destination.

What Manufacturer Types Supply Most Project Quotations?

For the rest of the supply base, what matters on a hotel or apartment package is what the factory actually produces and what product evidence it can show.

3. Export-oriented SPC extrusion factories

• What they are: factories built around SPC extrusion and inline lamination lines, producing rigid-core click planks, including for export.
• Project fit: the bulk of multifamily unit flooring and hotel guest-room flooring where a click-installed rigid plank is specified.
• Evidence to request: a rigid-core product test report that states total thickness, wear layer and core construction; a dimensional stability and curling result (ISO 23999 is the international method); and full-size production planks of each decor for approval, not swatch chips.

4. Glue-down LVT producers

• What they are: factories producing flexible, fully adhered LVT tiles and planks, a different process from rigid-core extrusion. On a Chinese quotation “LVT” can also mean click product, so confirm the format first.
• Project fit: hotel corridors, lift lobbies and other areas with heavy rolling loads, where a fully bonded floor avoids the joint stress a floating click floor can suffer.
• Evidence to request: a test report to the named product standard (ASTM F1700 for solid vinyl in US work, ISO 10582 for heterogeneous PVC in markets that use it); a residual indentation result (ISO 24343-1 or ASTM F970); a plasticiser declaration; and the adhesive recommendation from the manufacturer for the specified substrate.

Which Suppliers Cover Mixed Schedules and Accessories?

5. Flooring groups offering SPC alongside timber or laminate

• What they are: flooring groups whose range covers SPC as well as engineered timber or laminate.
• Project fit: mixed schedules, such as SPC in units with engineered timber or laminate in amenity areas.
• Evidence to request: separate test reports for each product family; the producing plant for each; and a matched decor sample set showing the SPC and timber or laminate side by side.

6. Underlay, trims and stair-nosing suppliers

• What they are: producers of attached or loose underlays, reducers, end caps, skirting and stair nosings, sometimes the flooring factory itself and sometimes a specialist.
• Project fit: every multifamily and hotel flooring package. Acoustic performance is a property of the floor system, not the plank alone, so plank and underlay should be tested together.
• Evidence to request: an impact sound test report on the plank-and-underlay assembly over a documented floor build; profile drawings for each trim; and colour matching against the approved plank decors.

Which Standards Should an SPC or LVT Line Name?

Naming the product standard and the fire test gives every factory the same target and lets the project team compare reports rather than brochures. The standards below were checked against the issuing bodies’ own records as of September 2026. Which apply depends on the destination market; the fire class for each area is set by the building code adopted at the project location.

A report is only useful if the product in the report is the product in the quotation: thickness, wear layer and core construction should match the quoted line. ASTM E648 tests a floor-covering system, so the report should state how the specimen was mounted, including underlay or adhesive. Reports should come from an accredited laboratory whose scope covers the method named.

How Should a Multifamily or Hotel Building Split SPC and LVT?

In most apartment and hotel buildings the answer is not one product everywhere. A common zoning pattern is:

• Apartment units and hotel guest rooms: SPC click plank, often with an attached underlay chosen for the acoustic requirement; installation is room by room and repairs stay local.
• Corridors and lift lobbies: glue-down LVT, where housekeeping trolleys and luggage carts run daily and a fully bonded floor handles rolling loads better.
• Wet areas and entrances: usually tile or stone; the schedule should show where vinyl stops and which transition profile is used.

What Changes When the Plank Is Made Outside China?

Both listed companies report production outside China. Tianzhen’s 2025 annual report, citing China Customs data, gives China’s PVC flooring exports as 1.58 million tonnes in 2015, a peak of 5.72 million tonnes in 2021 and 4.156 million tonnes in 2025, and describes Chinese producers moving part of their capacity to Southeast Asia and Mexico. Walrus’s 2025 annual report, citing US Census Bureau data, states that in 2024 Vietnam overtook China for the first time as the largest source, by value, of US PVC flooring imports.

For a project team, origin follows the plant: a plank quoted by a Chinese group may be made in Vietnam or Thailand, and the certificate of origin will say so. A test report on samples from one plant does not automatically cover another, so ask which plant makes the quoted SKU. Both reports also point to US tariff policy on PVC flooring as a major factor in 2025; confirm duty status with the project’s customs broker against the actual origin.
