What FBM Sourcing does for railings on a commercial project

Railings are a drawing-and-code scope: every run has to meet the load and infill rules of the destination country, and it has to fit the slab edge and stair the contractor actually built. FBM Sourcing manages the entire China procurement package for overseas construction projects, and for railings we take your balustrade drawings and specification, match them to fabricators experienced in glass, aluminum and stainless systems for export, coordinate shop drawings and fixing details, arrange a sample post-and-panel assembly where the project needs one, inspect fabricated runs before shipment with our own FBM Sourcing QC team, and consolidate railings with windows, doors and other categories by full container.

We supplied balcony railings for a Florida hotel and railing scopes for the five-star hotel package we managed in the Caribbean hurricane zone. All quotations, invoices and shipping documents are issued by FBM Sourcing — you deal with us, and we carry the responsibility. For suppliers you nominate, we charge a 5% commission; for products we source for you, we quote a direct price.

Wall-mounted and post-mounted handrails in stainless, aluminum and timber, with brackets and end returns to code.

Machined and cast posts, base plates and spigots for glass and cable systems, supplied with anchors.

Railing Hardware

Clamps, standoffs, tensioners, brackets and fixings packed per run so installers receive complete kits.

Loading Container & Shipping

Runs are crated and labelled by location, with hardware kits packed per run, and consolidated with the rest of the project package. We always ship by full container.

Can railings be fabricated to my site dimensions?

Yes. Railings are made to your drawings; where the building is already built, we coordinate site measurement before production so runs, corners and stairs are cut to the actual dimensions.

Which glass do you use for glass balustrades?

Tempered or laminated safety glass to the destination code (EN 12600, ANSI Z97.1, AS 1288), with the glass mark visible on each panel and checked at inspection.

Do you supply railings for coastal or pool areas?

Yes. We specify 316 stainless or higher-grade powder-coat finishes for coastal and pool environments and confirm the finish specification with the fabricator before production.

How are railings inspected before shipment?

Our own FBM Sourcing QC team inspects fabricated runs at the factory before shipment: dimensions against drawings, welds and finish, glass marks, hardware kits and crating. Photos and a report go to you before loading.

FBM Sourcing confirms the factory’s load-test data matches the specified span and baluster spacing, checks weld and finish quality on a sample section, and verifies packing prevents transit damage to glass infill or polished finishes before shipment.
