How large is a typical project order?
Project orders are container-scale. The published cases run from a single consolidated 40HQ — a restaurant and bar package to South Africa, a sofa and lounge-chair shipment to the Netherlands — up to 22 containers of metal filing cabinets for Australian and New Zealand office projects and 20+ containers of building materials for a four-star hotel in the Caribbean hurricane zone. The most common shape is a handful of 40HQ containers covering several product categories from several factories for one project.
Why don't the case studies name the project, the client or the factories?
Because naming a development identifies the buyer, and anyone who can identify the buyer can approach them directly. Our case studies publish what a buyer needs in order to judge us — product categories, quantities, container counts, destination market, the compliance standards the project had to meet and the problems that had to be solved — and leave out the developer's name, the building's name and the factories used. The same protection applies to your project.
Can several product categories from one project be shipped together?
Yes, and that is the normal shape of the work. Sometimes, on a large project, the building materials alone fill full containers; sometimes the building materials share containers with the other product categories of the same project; and sometimes, in one batch, we combine a dozen or more product categories from several projects of the same client into a few containers — always full containers, and for us this is routine, well-practised work.
Do you handle residential and villa projects as well as commercial ones?
Yes, when the buyer is a company. Several published cases are villa and full-house packages bought by developers, builders and contractors in Australia, the United States and the United Kingdom. FBM Sourcing works mainly on commercial construction projects and does not sell to individual homeowners — the qualifier is who the buyer is, not whether the building is residential.
Which destination markets do the delivered projects cover?

Can we see a project comparable to ours before we commit?
Yes. Send the project type, the destination market and the categories in your BOQ or product list, and we will point you to the delivered cases closest to it, including the compliance standards involved — for example AS 2047 for Australian windows and doors, or UL-listed steel fire doors for United States school projects. What we will not pass on is any client's name or contact details, ours or anyone else's.
