Top Outdoor Furniture Manufacturers in China for Middle East & High-Heat Climate Projects (2026)

Resort pool deck with sun loungers and parasols, representing outdoor furniture for high-heat Middle East projects
Blog,Product Selection Guide

The top outdoor furniture manufacturers in China for Middle East and high-heat climate projects are three Shenzhen-listed groups, Yotrio (002489) and Zhengte (001238) in Linhai, Zhejiang, and Higold (001221) in Shunde, Foshan, plus private factories organised by material: aluminium frames, rope and synthetic weave, teak, parasols and public-realm seating. What qualifies any of them for a Gulf pool deck, rooftop or waterfront is the evidence behind the catalogue: coating class and salt-spray results, fabric lightfastness, fibre weathering data, timber legality documents, and a production plan that survives Chinese New Year and Ramadan.

This shortlist is written for developers, general contractors, builders, commercial project owners, interior design and construction companies and FF&E solution providers delivering hotels, residential communities, food-and-beverage terraces and public-realm schemes in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain and Kuwait.

Why This List Names Only Three Companies

Most outdoor furniture in China comes from privately held factories whose project lists cannot be checked against any public filing. Yotrio, Zhengte and Higold are the outdoor furniture makers whose Shenzhen Stock Exchange listings we have confirmed, so this page names those three, describes the rest by manufacturer type and cluster, and does not rank or score anyone. The general hotel and resort shortlist, without the Gulf climate lens, is at top outdoor furniture manufacturers in China for hotel and resort projects.

What Do Heat, UV and Salt Air Do to Outdoor Furniture on a Gulf Site?

A Gulf pool deck or seafront terrace combines strong year-round UV, very hot surfaces, salt-laden humid air and wind-blown sand, and each attacks a different material:

  • Powder-coated aluminium loses gloss under UV, and near the sea corrosion can creep under the coating from cut edges and welds (filiform corrosion).
  • Fabrics fade, and cushions that hold irrigation or pool water stay damp and discolour.
  • Synthetic weave and rope turn brittle and chalky if the polymer is not UV-stabilised.
  • Teak and hardwoods grey naturally and can check in dry heat; coated timber blisters if moisture is trapped under the finish.
  • Fasteners stain and seize if a lower grade of steel is used, and dissimilar metals in salt air corrode where they touch.
  • Sand and dust abrade fabrics and the hinges of loungers and parasols.

The material trade-offs are compared in aluminum vs teak vs rope outdoor furniture for resort projects.

The Performance Evidence a Gulf Outdoor Specification Should Name

  • Powder coating class. QUALICOAT, the quality label for coatings on aluminium, classifies powders by outdoor weathering performance: Class 1 is assessed after one year of Florida exposure, Class 2 (super durable) after three years and Class 3 after ten. Name the class, not only a RAL colour.
  • Seaside pretreatment. The QUALICOAT Seaside option raises the minimum etch of the aluminium surface before coating from 1 g/m² to 2 g/m², improving resistance to filiform corrosion; add it for beachfront, marina and island sites. Coating options are compared in powder coating vs anodized aluminum for commercial projects.
  • Salt-spray testing. ASTM B117 and ISO 9227 (neutral salt spray) define how a salt-fog test is run, and ASTM B117 states that it does not prescribe exposure periods or how results are interpreted, so the specification must set the hours and pass criterion.
  • Frame metal. Ask for a written declaration of aluminium alloy and temper, tube wall thickness, weld method and stainless fastener grade, so that the approved sample and the bulk order are held to one document.
  • Fabric and foam. Solution-dyed acrylic, pigmented before the fibre is spun, is the usual Gulf cushion and canopy fabric; ask for a colour fastness to light result to ISO 105-B02 or AATCC TM16.3 on the exact colour. Reticulated quick-dry foam with a mesh panel lets cushions drain after irrigation or pool splash.
  • Synthetic weave and rope. Ask for the fibre polymer, written confirmation of UV stabilisation, and a weathering report on the fibre to ISO 4892-2 (xenon arc), ISO 4892-3 or ASTM G154 (fluorescent UV lamps) stating the exposure hours.
  • Timber legality. Ask for the species and country of harvest and, where certified timber is required, an FSC claim on the invoice carrying the seller’s chain-of-custody code; a sawmill’s certificate does not cover a factory without its own.
  • Structural safety. The EN 581 series covers outdoor seating and tables for camping, domestic and contract use; ask for a report on the model actually supplied.

Which Conformity Rules Touch Outdoor Furniture in Saudi Arabia and the GCC?

Conformity has to be checked item by item against each HS code. One point is clear from the official source: the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) includes furniture, umbrella and sunshade coverings made of at least 80% textile by weight within the scope of its Technical Regulation for Textile Products, which can bring cushion covers and parasol canopies into the SABER process even where the frames are outside it. Whether a lounger, planter or cabana needs a SABER certificate, or a conformity certificate in the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman or Bahrain, depends on its HS code and the rules in force when it ships, so buyers should confirm the current requirement with the importer of record before ordering. The Saudi process is explained in SASO and SABER certification for Saudi Arabia.

The Three Listed Manufacturers

1. Yotrio and Zhengte (Linhai, Zhejiang)

  • Who they are: Zhejiang Yotrio Group (SZSE 002489), founded in 1992 and listed in 2010, makes outdoor furniture, sunshade products and other outdoor leisure goods. Zhejiang Zhengte (SZSE 001238), listed in 2022, makes parasols, awnings, gazebos and pergolas alongside outdoor furniture, with sunshade products as its main line.
  • Cluster: Linhai’s outdoor leisure industry began in the early 1990s, counts more than 1,000 manufacturers and supporting suppliers, and has been named a national foreign-trade transformation and upgrading base for outdoor leisure products by China’s Ministry of Commerce.
  • Verdict: built for volume programmes with repeatable specifications, such as phased residential amenity decks or multi-site F&B operators.
  • Evidence to request: powder class and pretreatment of the exact frame finish, salt-spray hours, fabric lightfastness and fibre weathering reports, and the manufacturer’s wind guidance for parasols.

2. Higold (Shunde, Foshan)

  • Who they are: Higold Group (SZSE 001221), headquartered in Shunde and listed on the Shenzhen main board in July 2025, is primarily a home-hardware manufacturer; outdoor furniture is one of its four product series, run by a dedicated division and subsidiary in Shunde.
  • Verdict: relevant where a Gulf residential developer is also buying cabinet and wardrobe hardware from South China.
  • Evidence to request: the same coating, salt-spray, fabric and weathering documents, plus which items are made in its own Shunde plant.

Private Manufacturer Types for a Gulf Outdoor Package

3. Aluminium-frame contract makers (Foshan and Zhejiang)

  • Who they are: factories that weld aluminium frames and coat them in-house, building loungers, daybeds and dining sets to a project drawing; in Foshan they sit in the Shunde furniture districts, where Longjiang is known for manufacturing and Lecong for trading.
  • Verdict: the core type for pool decks and rooftops; an in-house coating line matters, because frames coated elsewhere are hard to trace to a pretreatment.
  • Evidence to request: alloy, temper and wall thickness; QUALICOAT class and Seaside pretreatment; salt-spray hours and pass criterion; fastener grade.

4. Rope, synthetic-weave and sling specialists (Foshan and Linhai)

  • Who they are: factories that hand-weave synthetic fibre or wrap rope over aluminium frames and sew sling fabrics, sometimes on frames made in another plant.
  • Verdict: essential for the resort and beach-club look but most exposed to UV and sand; the fibre supplier’s data matters more than the workshop’s.
  • Evidence to request: fibre polymer, UV-stabiliser confirmation, a weathering report to ISO 4892 or ASTM G154, and the fibre supplier’s name so that the bulk order matches the sample.

5. Teak and hardwood makers

  • Who they are: solid-timber specialists making deck chairs, dining sets, benches and planters.
  • Verdict: suited to shaded terraces, clubhouses and restaurants where natural greying is accepted; less suited to unshaded pool decks.
  • Evidence to request: species and country of harvest, FSC chain-of-custody code where certified timber is required, moisture content at packing, and the finish specification.

6. Parasol, cabana and shade makers (Linhai)

  • Who they are: Linhai’s parasol makers, including Zhengte, and private factories producing commercial parasols, cabanas and shade sails; fixed pergolas and louvred roofs come from sunshade and louver manufacturers instead.
  • Verdict: the gating issues are canopy fading and wind; the specification should state the wind speed at which each parasol must be closed.
  • Evidence to request: canopy fabric and lightfastness report, frame coating, wind guidance and base detail; canopy fabric is also where the SASO textile regulation may apply.

7. Public-realm and F&B seating producers

  • Who they are: metal-furniture factories making stacking chairs, café tables and benches in powder-coated steel or aluminium for restaurant terraces, retail streets and waterfront promenades.
  • Verdict: right where stacking and repeat ordering matter more than lounge comfort; on coastal sites, steel frames need a zinc-based layer under the powder coat.
  • Evidence to request: tube gauge, stacking test, the full coating system, a salt-spray report, and a report under the EN 581 series where specified.

How Does the Production Calendar Work Around Chinese New Year and Ramadan?

An outdoor furniture order for the Gulf runs specification sign-off, sampling, sample approval, bulk production, inspection and loading. Chinese New Year closes most Chinese factories for a period around the holiday, with workers returning gradually; see Chinese New Year factory shutdown and production planning. In the Gulf, Ramadan and Eid slow consultant approvals and site receiving. Ramadan moves about eleven days earlier each year and currently falls close to Chinese New Year: the Hong Kong government lists Lunar New Year’s Day 2027 as 6 February, and Ramadan 2027 is expected to begin within days of it, subject to moon sighting. The practical rule is to finish sample approval before both holidays and start bulk production after them.

Gulf gateways include Jebel Ali for the UAE, Dammam for Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province and Jeddah for the Red Sea coast; see shipping from China to Saudi Arabia via Dammam, Jeddah and Jebel Ali. Knock-down frames pack more densely than welded ones, cushions travel best in sealed bags with desiccant, and coated edges need protection against transit scuffs that become corrosion points.

Sometimes, on a large project, the outdoor furniture items alone fill full containers; sometimes the outdoor furniture items share containers with the other product categories of the same project; and sometimes, in one batch, we combine a dozen or more product categories from several projects of the same client into a few containers — always full containers, and for us this is routine, well-practised work.

Where FBM Sourcing Fits

FBM Sourcing is the China sourcing partner in this picture, not a manufacturer. For developers, general contractors, builders, commercial project owners, interior design and construction companies and FF&E solution providers, we match each outdoor line to the manufacturer type that makes it, write the coating, fabric, fibre and timber requirements into the factory brief before sampling, collect the test reports, and carry out inspection by our own team at the factory before shipment, with photo and video records. We then load full containers for Jebel Ali, Dammam, Jeddah or other Gulf ports.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which Chinese outdoor furniture manufacturers are listed on a stock exchange?

We have confirmed three Shenzhen Stock Exchange listings among Chinese outdoor furniture makers: Zhejiang Yotrio Group (002489) and Zhejiang Zhengte (001238), both in Linhai, Zhejiang, and Higold Group (001221) in Shunde, Foshan, whose outdoor furniture division sits beside its home-hardware business.

What powder coating should be specified for outdoor furniture on a coastal Gulf site?

Name a QUALICOAT class, not only a colour: Class 1 is assessed after one year of Florida exposure, Class 2 after three years and Class 3 after ten. For beachfront and marina sites add Seaside pretreatment, and state the salt-spray hours and pass criterion, because ASTM B117 itself does not set them.

Does outdoor furniture need SABER certification for Saudi Arabia?

It depends on each item’s HS code. SASO’s Technical Regulation for Textile Products covers furniture, umbrella and sunshade coverings made of at least 80% textile by weight, so cushion covers and parasol canopies may need to go through SABER even where frames do not. Confirm the current requirement for each HS code with the importer of record.

Which fabric and foam work best for outdoor cushions in Gulf heat?

Solution-dyed acrylic fabric with a lightfastness result to ISO 105-B02 or AATCC TM16.3 on the exact colour ordered, over reticulated quick-dry foam with a mesh panel so that water drains through. Write both into the cushion drawing, because a showroom sample cannot prove the bulk materials.

How do Chinese New Year and Ramadan affect an outdoor furniture order for the Gulf?

Chinese New Year closes most Chinese factories for a period, and Ramadan and Eid slow Gulf approvals and site receiving. Ramadan moves about eleven days earlier each year and currently falls close to Chinese New Year, so complete sample approval before both holidays and schedule bulk production after them.
