This website, https://fbmsourcing.com, is operated by FBM SOURCING LIMITED (Hong Kong), trading as FBM Sourcing (“FBM Sourcing”, “we”, “us”). What we collect
Information you send us. When you use a contact or RFQ form, email us or message us on WhatsApp, we receive the details you choose to provide — typically your name, company, email address, phone number, country, project description and any files (BOQ, drawings, product lists) you attach.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites we use Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, referring source, form submissions and clicks on WhatsApp/email links). This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. Server logs record IP addresses and request details for security purposes.
Cookies. Cookies are used for analytics (Google Analytics) and to remember basic site preferences. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site continues to work without them.
How we use it
- To answer your enquiry, prepare quotations and manage projects you engage us for;
- To send you information you have asked for about our services (we do not send marketing newsletters unless you ask);
- To keep the website secure and to understand which content is useful;
- To meet legal, accounting and export-compliance obligations.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent personal data. Enquiry data is stored in our email system (Microsoft 365) and website hosting (Hostinger). Analytics data is processed by Google. Project documents are shared with factories, freight forwarders and inspection staff only to the extent needed to quote, produce, inspect and ship your order, and never include more personal information than necessary. We may disclose information where required by law.
Retention
Enquiry emails and form submissions are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting project, and for the period required by commercial and tax law. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics settings (currently 14 months).
Your rights
You may ask us to show, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing info@fbmsourcing.com. Visitors from the EU/UK also have the rights set out in the GDPR/UK GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
Embedded content and links
Pages may embed YouTube videos or Google Maps and link to our social-media channels. Those services may collect data according to their own privacy policies.
